That's strange. This morning I saw you had the dubbed episodes and nowthey're gone. What happened?

All the dubbed episodes I have are still there - try refreshing your file view. About 3 days ago I did delete a few raw Japanese episodes to make room for other files as I'm running out of blank CDs, and can't afford alot of new ones just now. eMule has almost all of those Japanese astroboy.atom episodes readily avalable for download so I'll be working on getting all of them soon.

Awww... I was after the Raw Japaneese Files..

Mind you, as I am on Dial-up it would take FOREVER to get them.

I am going to have to bite the bullet, risk hell and damnation, and try find out just what this emule thingy is arent I?

Man, I never want for ADSL as much as I want for ADSL when reading this board.

Okay. I got the dubbed episodes back and i've just noticed something. There seems to be two versoins of each episode. For example, one file is called
"Astro Boy (2004) - s01e04 - Astro vs. Atlas.avi"
and another is called
"Astro Boy 2003 - ep04 - Astro vs Atlas.avi"
Is there a difference? I'm sorry I keep bugging you with all of these silly questions, but things come up and I wonder.

There are 3 versions of each actually, 2 other release groups are encoding the new series in addition to the episodes I've been releasing.
I've been trying to download them as they are released.
The ones with {C_P} in the filename are DIVX, 480x360, and properly deinterlaced at 24 fps
the ones with 2004 in the filename are XVID, 512x384 and are not deinterlaced (30 fps)
the ones with 2003 in the filename are XVID, 640x480, deinterlaced at 24fps, but are bigger than the other releases.

As far as clarity of picture goes, the 2004 one seems to be the worst, and for color and brightness the 2003 one looks the best (the others are darker and kinda greyish). The 2003 one also has the WB logos removed (tho that is a little distracting in itself).

None of them are particularly bad.
