Hi Nittsy and welcome!
on a slightly different note, could someone tell me which episode is it with violet (as in that little violet video you can dl from this page) in it? that was the saddest episode - i was so young back then, but even now i can recall it, and i'd love to be able to dl it!
That would be The Girl From Alsoar (episode 20).
My sister bought a Monkey iron-on transfer today. It's great, he's got his yellow scarf and that stick he used in fights.

Do you remember his flying cloud summoning move? That was so cool, we always used to immitate that!

I do! I watched an episode that I taped one Sunday morning not too long ago.
I do not remember Danger Island as well as the Tom Sawyer or Gulliver adventures, though. There was this one guy, I think he was named Glum, who was always depressed and mumbling about certain doom. Capt. Leech was a cool bad guy!

Blackie Young was a guy who believed that robots murdered his mother, as such he was going about destroying robots. It was in the Manga and in the 60s, I do not remember an 80s version of it, though. Black Jack was in the time travelling ep, in which Atom goes back to medieval times with the maverick physician to cure a young
prince.

In fact there
is also an 80's version of
Blackie Young
. I've found some pics
of it:
The robot beside Astro get threatened by Blackie
In this scene at the beginning Astro tells a very beautiful line

:
Some things time can't destroy. Even after years of seperation, the memory of a mother's love comes flooding back and all the years melt away".

This is very moving.
