Here Tamao (Theodore) is translated "Large eyeball man", Shibugaki (Alvin) is "Fourth section fences", Otosan (Papa) is "You question,", and Inspector Tawashi (Gumshoe) is "Rice field eagle police inspector". It is funny how Mother and Doctor Ochanomizu (Elefun)'s names come out ok, especially since 'Ochanomizu' means nothing in English. Higeoyaji/Mustachio (MR. Pompous) does not even translate at all. It remains in Japanese characters!
But Kenichi's (kenneth) name is a hybred of Japanese and English characters!
