Here is another irrelevant response from Cybotro. Hey, Cybotron, what inspired you to post these lyrics in this thread? ;) [/b][/quote]

:) You're welcome!
How's the sound? Is it bearable?

Hmmmm... I had forgotten about that. It is bad :( But with efforts I could understand most of the speaches. I have already problems to understand correctly spoken English when there are no problems, you prepared me a really serious exercise :D
Anyway, seeing this episode was a pleasure, even with bad sound ;)
Now, I am sure I had seen it 20 years ago. I am almost sure that most of my feelings about Atlas' ambiguity come from this episode.

I'll see to it if I can fix this problem by the next following episodes.
I use WinTV USB for converting the tapes. It's probably not the best equipment for that matter since the sound adjustments are layed out in a 'funny' way (mildly said).

The problem is, the Siren Astroboy-tapes itself have got bad sound mixings, i.e. the background music is mixed far too loud compared to the spoken words, so non-english people like us may have some trouble to understand the dialoque. :(

Apart from that, I'm still practicing with this converting program, so the results may going to be better. Time will tell <_< .
For a start it came out not too bad I think.

More to come!

These were the parts were there was problems. To understand something I had to push the volume very high, so the background music became very loud and very awfull :o I even had to close the window to avoid the neighborhood to follow the episode with me :D After I produced my concerto in flat beep yesterday they could just be annoyed :P

A little Topic revival! ^_^
(Don't worry, I won't do this too often anymore)

Here's a song that fits perfectly to those images:

Image

Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together) (link to a MIDI file of that song)

When I'm gone
No need to wonder if I ever think of you
The same moon shines, the same wind blows
For both of us and time is but a paper moon
be not gone

Though I'm gone
It's just as though I hold the flower that touches you
A new life grows, the blossom knows
There's no-one else could warm my heart as much as you
Be not gone

Let us cling together as the years go by
Oh my love, my love
In the quiet of the night let our candle always burn
Let us never lose the lessons we have learned

Teo torriatte konomama iko
Aisuruhito yo
Shizukana yoi ni, hikario tomoshi
Itoshiki oshieo idaki

Hear my song
Still think of me the way you've come to think of me
The nights grow long, but dreams live on
Just close your pretty eyes and you can be with me...
Dream on

Teo torriatte konomama iko
Aisuruhito yo
Shizukana yoi ni, hikario tomoshi
Itoshiki oshieo idaki

When I'm gone, they'd say we're all fools
and we don't understand
Oh be strong, don't turn your heart
You're all,
We're all,
For all,
For always.......

Let us cling together as the years go by
Oh my love, my love
In the quiet of the night let our candle always burn
Let us never lose the lessons we have learned

Interesting.
You know what, Strage Wings?
That song would be great for that episode. :) *claps*
I just wish it was put in that episode, though... :P

 *sob*
Why the saddest things are also the most beautiful? Chateaubriand was right: the musical instrument that is the mind has only one string for both beauty and sadness
