Bet this never happens to the PPGs

In Astroboy goes to school, he ends up wearing a dunce cap, and in 122nd Episode: The Monster Mantler, the poor little guy gets his bare little bottom spanked by a huge alien creature.

I have seen the PPGs sitting in the time-out chair, but never anything so em-bare-a$$ing as that. Tezuka must have been drinking when he came up with that scene, because after the spankin', the multi-tentacled creature made him dance, and a few other comic-relief type things.

Maybe it was his dance education? There might be alien cultures that felt Astro needed dance lin his data.

That's a great episode. I wish my computer could play region 2 dvds, then I'd post some pics. from it. The spanking and dance routine was a gut buster. There sure is a lot of tenticle creatures in anime. I could almost guarantee that scene would have been cut if that episode had been translated.

Another highly embarrassing event occurred in episode 102, Queen of the Devils' Place, in which Uranium finds a job playing Tarzan, while Atom is cast as an ape. Funny as you know where!

Actually, I do recall an episode of PPG where cloth eating microrobots rain upon Townsville and while the girls try to fight it, they actually lose their clothes. That should be up there in embarassment.

I just watched City Hunter TV season 1, disc 6. It had a scene in which Ryo was bragging about the many roles he plays as benefactor to his partner. It was reminescent of the type of things in the Mr. Pompous and Cutey Honey thread. "Sometimes I am a" stuff. Suddenly his partner had him bare-bottomed over her knee, and was spanking him!
