Thanks ChibiGoku, That's awesome.
Awww!, see what I mean, she's so cuuute. :) I have a 2006 Black Jack calender and it's great, lots of pics of Pinoko in it. What's the new show like? I plan to buy the dvds soon. I already have some older Black Jack dvds from the 90's, but there're only ovas, and don't have any thing to with the manga story, which I think this new show follows pretty well. I'd love to see Pinoko's origin story told in full color anime.

Not a bad start. It could use some pictures though.

I need a few with transparent backgrounds for the welcome page, but all the others have no need for them.

I have finished the Tezuka Osamu World Actors' browser, but cannot upload it at this time, because the host is doing maintenance. However, I expect to upload it soon. I will keep you posted. Anyway, it is a multi-frame scheme that has a scroll of names on the left, which when a name is clicked, open the page on the right.

Here is the URL for the Tezuka Osamu World Actors' browser. Note that it uses javascript to load several pages at once (into different frames), a thing that MS Internet Explorer coupled with SP2 might frown upon.

Please report anything that does not wolk. I already know that Shumari fails.

Enjoy!

"Welcome to Astroboy Forever's Tezuka Characters Browser"

Duh... My first thought: "Why would jeffbert name his characters browswer after me?"

I'm with Firefox, so everything works well here (except the one you mentioned).

I didn't know Astro's mother ended up as Princess Saphire! :o I was scratching my head wondering where I had seen Notaarin... I think he's the one talking with Inspector Holmes at the beginning of "The Man-Made Solar Sphere". I had also found a little odd to see an identifiable asian in "The Genie From Outer Space" (who is "Tonanshipei"), because actually I would have expected to find a lot more than just one (or maybe two, I think one of Astro's classmate might be as well).

Very good work, jeffbert! Very useful! :D

She did not. You are confusing Mitchy with Sapphire. :D

Anyway, thanks for the compliments. I will fix the defective link today.

<!--QuoteBegin--Mitchy
@ Tezuka World
Mitchy herself portrayed Atom's mother in the "Astro Boy" series. [...] Moreover, she was not only the prototype for Atom she was also the model for Sapphire, the star of "Princess Knight".[/quote]

Hmm, as many times as I have read Mitchy's page, that just did not sink in. However, it is still a bit stretching the statement that "Mitchy was the model upon whom Sapphire was based," to say "Astro's mother ended up as Princess Saphire!"

But, I do not want any bad blood between us, so I will withhold any further argument. :D

Well I had never heard of Mitchy and I don't know enough about Saphire and Tezuka's world to have my own opinion, so I just took what was written there. Now, how true is that, I can't judge! ;) I only wanted to point out where I got the information, not put an end to the matter. :(

There would certainly not be any bad blood between us if you want to express another opinion. Hopefully I don't look like I don't want to hear another point of view without getting mad or frustrated. This is a "forum de discussion", as we call it in French, so whoever doesn't want to discuss and hear other point of views has no business writing on one. I also have a lot of respect for you, so there's no reason why I would not want to read what you have to say. It's quite the opposite actually, you made me curious and I want to know! :)
