Recently I've started looking into Osamu Tezuka's feature films, I already have Metropolis. It seems to be a bit difficult to find information on his films, especially films like Metropolis made by Tezuka Productions after his death. Metropolis isn't even listed on tezuka.co.jp. I'm looking in particular at what is available on DVD. A few of the titles I've found so far that interest me:

Kimba the White Lion/Jungle Emperor Leo (the 1997 film was supposed to be chapter 3 of this story. Was the older film the first two chapters and is the older film on DVD yet?)

A Time Slip of 10000 years: Prime Rose
PHOENIX 2772 (SPACE FIREBIRD)

Are these other two available on DVD?

Also have there been anime adaptations of the Lost World and Nextworld mangas?

Does anyone have a list of the feature films done by Osamu Tezuka and/or Tezuka Productions?

Broken Down Film and Jumping are good, but pretty short.

How can one go about actually seeing those?

Actually I'd be very excited about seeing any of the adaptations of Phoenix, but I also don't know how you can obtain those films.

I found them on Anapan's server. I've never seen them officially available anywhere.

He's a long list of Tezuka productions:

I think I've seen about 8.

I have some of these films:
Marine Express
the '97 Kimba movie/with English subs
Metropolis/with English subs
the '66 Kimba movie
the Kimba Symphonic Poem movie
Triton of the Sea's movie/with English subs
the '64 Astro movie
and New Treasure Island

You can get them and many more at these sites:

:( sorry, I couldn't get the Tezuka movie selection to link, but you can type his name here:

You'll need a region free dvd player or you can configure your computers disc drives for each region. Most don't have English subs. But the great animation tells the stories pretty good by themselves. Good luck. ;)

What is Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy) - Uchu no Yusha? Is that The Brave in Space?

Yes, that's the '64 Astro movie. I have it, it's great and parts are in color, mainly the Brave in Space part of the movie. It comes with a bonus 1980 edited for tv version of the Brave in space, which might have served to wet the appitites for the '80-'81 color series. Also the box set has the '66 Kimba movie and New Treasure Island('65). It's worth the money.

Nope sorry, most have no subs. :D Great way to learn Japanese though, just get a Japanese-English dictionary and whenever there's an isolated word or phrase, look it up. I've learned lots of new words that way.
