I think this is intentional. While it may indeed be incorrect to have reflections on both sides, it is probably for the purpose of showing the curvature of his noggin.

But in this case the inner color wouldn't be pink I suppose?

Are we talking about the same thing?

I thought fafner was talking about the area in front of his ear (red arrow), while it seems to me that jeffbert is referring to the green arrow area. I think the former is a mistake while the latter is probably intentional (though it's a little odd to me).

Edited: okay, my arrows don't look like arrows!

 I had completely missed that. I had a 12 inch action figure (Johnny West), that had unpainted sideburns. I really hated this one, because his hair was so lame. I always used him as the guy who is killed first, or suffers the most humiliating situations, & eventually poured model glue all over him, lit it, & tossed him onto a slab of rock in the nearby woods. I was rather rough on my toys. :P

Yes, I was talking about that one (the red arrow). I hadn't even seen the one pointed by the green arrow :D

Nobody hurts my Astro and get away with it!

... to quote Astro in "The Human Faced Rock"! :P (it was "Nobody hurts my sister and get away with it") So I warned you, don't do this to any Astro toy you might have! :P

hurt or hurts?

I hadn't seen it either before jeffbert's post. Fortunately, he posted the pic from "Save the Carolina 3" or else we would still argue over different things! :wahah: I wouldn't have understood what he meant otherwise! :D I was really stumped at first! But it was, as you said, an unpainted area in his hair above his left ear!

The color choice does seem a little strange to me (more skin color than white). But while I can't really explain why they chose to put that there, it doesn't seem wrong in itself. :)

the socks aren't colored, that's strange it happens inside the boat after the accident and now outside the boat  maybe Tezuka sometimes doesn't notice the mistakes found  but look I also found mistakes in other shows as well

I hate it when my toys got messed up and stolen  why? cause my other brother Jason which already left the house kept chewing on my barbie and anime doll's feet when he watches Tv and when im not around  If I ever had a astroboy toy Ps: I only have a keychain, board game, and video game of Astro. but if i ever had the plushes and other toys. I would protect them from my cousins which is mean :( and from my younger cousin Mickey which loves to destroy lots of things from the family portrait that I always call him "Mikeyzilla"
But I still wish I had the plushes of Astro and Uran, even Kimba for my
brother cause he likes Kimba :P but there rare  you wouldn't expect me to go to Japan when the hotels are expensive, the money over there is yen and maybe not allow american money :( and the cost of the filet there is lots of money. but I have friends that go there sometimes and they always tell me to go with them, Gosh that will never happen cause I'm busy alot, but maybe soon :D

In fact, he is not supposed to wear socks at all in that episode, so the socks are a mistake. I suppose different persons were responsible for adding the colors, and one of them must have thought the line wasn't a joint, but socks. :)

It must be very very hard to avoid mistakes in so many thousands of cells! :o
