That's because it is Kennedy! Or Kenichi in Japanese and, in the 1980s, Kenneth in English and Christophe in French! He's a recurring character in Tezuka's mangas/animes: Kenichi's page

I can see a little bit of resemblance with Tintin!

The keyboard itself seems rather, how shall I put it? unconventional. Note that the background itself lacks detail. Perhaps this sequence deliberately dissolved the background elements so as to draw attention to the foreground.

Allow me to say that if the background disappears, then it draws attention on itself

It was a huge room, so that's why there is nothing in the background here. The back of the chair is definitely a mistake, because it's always there except for that one frame.

What puzzles me most is about the way the piano's black keys are arranged. Apparently an octave is containing 14 semi-notes in the Astroboy universe. :wacko:
(apart from the keyboard's octave in the middle which is showing the correct scale)
