He's demented because some alliens kidnapped him and put a mind controlling device in his chest. At first it didn't work and he trashed them and their spaceship, but they shot him and tried again, this time it worked and they made him fight with Astro, but Astro defeated him and Dr. Ochanimizu removed the device from his chest and Cobalt stepped on it, became angry and helped Astro kick some allien butt. Then Astro and Cobalt walked to the spaceship together in vicotory as in the pic. you linked to.

Hehehe thanks! That's very reminiscent of the 2003 episode "Atlas Strikes Back". I enjoy knowing where they used old ideas (I assume they did).

Cobalt is too rough with Atom's puppy, & everyone chews him out. He stomps away, to feel sorry for himself.


Boon, knowing he cannot defeat the dog aliens with Atom on their side, cons Cobalt into thinking he had been attacked.


Cobalt is ripe for picking, as the cliché goes.








As far as I can recall (or tell), this is Cobalt's energy cell.


This qill turn Cobalt against his family.








But it turns him against everyone. that is Boon Cobalt is spinning.

I must assume the cat aliens gave him this power.

As for that power, maybe he had it, but never used it. As far as I can tell, Cobalt (Jetto) is something of a pacifist. (At least, in the English version of his debut, he claimed that he "didn't like to fight", suggesting he only fought when necessary, usually.)
