Spam alert
I must bring to your attention that we are victim of a massive spam attack. Spams involve a lot of malware.
Be very cautious on the links you click on, especially links posted by unknown users. Be careful with links posted by known users too, just in case, especially if there are not clear explanations, or if it talks about porn, virus/malware checking, etc.
For your information, you can check the URL before clicking, this can help. You normally see the URL on the lower right part of your browser.

These spammers are such smart alecs. I see on their profiles that many of them even say that they are spammers in their signature.
They must make moderating such a pain in the neck for our faithful mods. I deeply sympathize with what they have to go through to protect our site and we must all express our heartfelt gratitude to them all.

There is nothing you can do. The moderating team is handling the problem as best as possible for now.
Never mind about their signature: it's a trick we use to mark a user as a known spammer without banning them. Banning a spammer usually results in a new account. Obviously, it doesn't work anymore, so we have to change the trick.

Ugh; looking at the member count on the main page of the forums, it would appear these spambotsmade over 150 accounts in the past 24 hours.
They're persistant little bugs, huh? I especially hate it when they mimick normal member's names...I saw "Attapslop" (a-la Attackspeed) and Euena (I feel honoured).
Vergere, do you guys delete the spambot's whole account, or is that possible? I didn't think we had 819 whole members (number taken from before spam attack)...

Well as I understand Fauna, the mods can ban spammers but that doesn't prevent them from coming back under a different alias. I don't think they can cut them off completely. But they're trying to deal with them as best they can.
They're such a pain in the neck I know. The same people appear to also be invading at least one other forum I belong to.
