Maybe he/she is speaking about the "big" computer. I think that in the English version it has no name, but in the French version it is called Geronimo.
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

It has a name in English too, provided we're talking of the English Canadian version, of course.
Here is a thread about it.

In the Canadian dubs (French and English), many scenes were cut (about 5 minutes) in each of the 1980 episodes (see this thread for examples).
However, at the end of the episode, Astro would summarize the episode, deliberately making one mistake so the viewers could have fun trying to find it.
In the beginning of the game, Elefun would welcome Astro in his office, and then we'd see the huge computer, which was called Geronimo, saying he was waiting for Astro's report and, after the report, saying he was analyzing it. The images of this computer came from various episodes throughout the series. See the link I posted above to learn more.

Yeah, I remember talking about this before.

"Astro, you must exceed the limitations that humans cannot!
You must be go beyond nationality, ethnicity,
pilosophy, and religion,
starvation and poverty,
and war!
Exceed these limitations created by man!
You must fly high! Higher than any human has ever flown before!
To reach for the future that no human has been able to so far!"
