Thanks, Daichi, just what Astro Boy needs energy from weak people, he would not want power that way.
I Am neither native or alien to this world and time, i just know i care and regret not having the power to protect those of this universe- Toni

:D Just in case everyone would like to know who the person is doing the voice for Astro...I can tell you. It's Freddie Highmore of the Spiderwick Chronicles. I listened to the trailer for that movie and from what I can tell, he's perfect for the role. So there you have it. If I get anymore info on the movie, I'll let you guys know. ;)

Ninjatron, please, never, ever, ever do that again.
Now my eyes hurt from the giant red text and that blue background... Ouch.

Alternative Power For Astro

I think they should use Fusion power. It's cold energy, safe, and no radiation. It last indefinitely and he wouldn't have to recharge or ever run out of energy. Give me your thoughts on this one. I think it sounds like a good route to take for the movie. Originally Astro was supposed to be nuclear powered...it never made sense to me that he would run out of energy. Why would he need energy cassettes if he was Nuclear Fission Powered? Something else to ponder. :)

True; however, the exhaustion of enerGy as a plot element did not become frequent until the 80s series.

'enerGy' means pronounce a hard 'g'

Thanks, i hope Astroboy does have a new type of energy source, involving one of the four building forces in the universe- nuclear, weak, electromagnetism or gravity. thanks and hugs.
