@F-man, how much did the Jetter Mars set cost? I wouldn't mind having a copy at some point, even if there's no English subtitles.

I currently have *zero* Astro items. I figured I would wait to collect the manga after I get better at Japanese, then buy Japanese copies.

And I figured I would wait for an opportune time (when I have a multiple region player/drive) to get one of these:

Jetter Mars is currently $300 on cdjapan.co.jp. I bought my copy from Amazon Japan, but they seem to have only one shipping option, and I always get hit with import taxes.

The Australian box set for 80's Astro isn't recommended. While it has the first two episodes subtitled and the US one doesn't, the US one at least has every other episode subtitled while they're English-only in the R4 box set.

Your picture wasn't showing, SpaceCookie. It was a web page with an IMG tag. If you wanted your picture to show in this thread, you should have put the picture's path between the IMG tags (it would have ended with an image extension file, such as .jpg in this case). The other way would have to put a link with the URL tag.

I replaced the IMG tags with URL tags in this case. You can edit the post the other way around if you prefer.
