hi u all sorry i haven't been here for a while!^^; anyway here is an astro boy glow in the dark figuer!^^ this is apperntly an rare item! And it and offical tezuka item!^^ and i think its cool and cute!^^ but i never seen it in the dark...it would be kinda creepy seeing astro glow at night...especialy if its only his eyes! XD gosh i would freak out...XD hm...i kinda want it...but if it glows in green it will remind me of the green lantern! XD

Looks cute indeed. It says "Money Bank" on the top, I wonder if it starts to glow only if there's a certain amount of money being put in. Perhaps there's a weight sensor at the inside of the figure giving contact once a specified weight has been reached?

I remember being afraid of things in my closet when cars drove down the street & their headlights flashed across the closet.
I do not think I would have been reassured even by a glow in the dark Astroboy, especially when the glow became dim.
But it is very cute, just the same.

Things that go 'bump' in the night?
I think it depends on the whatever part to glow up. A glowing waisteband would look cool, glowing eyes however would creep me out.
