Something does not seem right. The one labeled as the movie adaptation has Diego Jourdan art on the cover. But E.J. Su is the artist of the adaptation and Deigo is the artist for the prequel, which has an Ashley Wood painting cover. It's possible the cover artwork got swapped. But it's also possible that this is what they want, or that they're just temporary.

Sayonara.

I probably will get them, but I just do not like the new character design.

His face just plain turns me off; I cannot say why, though. :hyo:

Actually I think it's pretty cute. It could've gotten a lot worse than that. :)
It's a reasonable cross between the anime Astro's cuteness and a real-life 10 year old.

Wow!

I actually like the art they used here. But it seems like they'll make him more like the american Astro Boy from the 2003 series, with a bit of an attitude.

neat comic. Astro seems to be cracking more jokes here. Which isn't a bad thing.
Cool little website there too. Any website with Astro Boy, GI Joe, Dr. Who, AND Star Trek works for me :D

Arrg! He is the same smart-mouthed kid as the English language version of the 2003 made him to be. :( I hope the movie does not do this to him, but I fear the worst.

I kinda expected him to be a little wise cracking. I mean, all the super heroes are a bit of wise crackers now. Heck, I've even seen Superman and Batman crack jokes these days so it was kinda inevitable. As long as they don't over do it (which I don't think they did in this sample. He only cracks one joke in it) and he's still a good guy all around, (and isn't being turned into a Naruto clone) I'm personally okay with it
