I just got the first ish at the store yesterday.
Oh mah Lawd, it's just awful.
Terrible art, terrible story, terrible relationship between Astro, Tenma and "Elefun"-Gawd, they used Elefun
Not O'Shay, Ochmamizu or Doctor O.
If this book is any reflection of the flick, then it's gonna be a dark and dreary October.

It is? Aw man, I would totally buy the first issue and do a review, but I'm saving up for a trip to Japan. As you all know, Crap Comic < Japan

That sucks. I doubt that means the movie is gonna be as bad though. It wouldn't be the first time a decent movie got lousy comics. Star Wars Manga anyone? Never read it, but I've read some pretty bad reviews for it (and that was made in Japan :whistling

Whats wrong with the name Elefun? Its always been his english name since the beginning. I don't see whats the big deal. I agree with Dragonrider1227. I will reserve judgment on the movie until I see it.
