I recall seeing a website that depicted Atom as a female, there should be a thread here, but lots of luck finding it.

That's pretty neat! X D Really close.
Making an avatar look exactly like Astro is going to be hard unless you find a way to epicly glitch his hair for the two spikes. x D [there's not really any hair available for his hair... a lot of close ones though].

There only thing I can say on that is, holy smokes. XD apparently people love giving Astro a gender swap. The whole cast should get one!

Pipi (pepe) became Pipiko for a supporting role in
Triton of the Sea; Epsilon's sex was a bit unclear, be it is definitely female in the 2003, and presumably male in PLUTO. Michi changes sex with the press of a button in its mouth.
I suppose Atom's androgyny may have contributed to people's desire to depict him as a girl.
