Postby Bakabits » 14 years ago

Here is a fun fact. The actor for astro boy 2009 is in fact a English actor. I think his name was Freddie Highmore. i always thought the 2009 astro had a british tone. you learn something new everyday.

Oh yeah that surprised me when i found out, i think he does really well in making his voice sound America. although there are tiny wittle points where you can hear a faint british accent slip it's kinda funny x3

Yep, I knew that. He was Charlie in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate factory. In fact, I think half the cast of that movie was British. So no wonder it did so well in the U.K XD

Heh...I'm an American, but most of my favorite actors end up being English:
- Matt Smith (11th Doctor)
- David Tennant (10th Doctor)
- Christopher Ecclestone (9th Doctor)
- Hugh Laurie (House MD)
- Alan Cumming (Tin Man Miniseries on Sci Fi; I think he's actually Scottish)
- Patrick Stewart (Star Trek: TNG)

Add Freddie Highmore to that list. And most of them do an uncanny job or an American accent when presented with one.
