They say prequel, but it's a big fat LIE!

I read them. THEY SUCK. o_o

Yes, the album is on a Chinese site. Yes, they are in English. Yes, they are CRAP.

The movie adaptation comics were much better. Definitely not the same artist.
(Oh noes...I'm having a flashback...to the NOW! comics... T_T )

I finally got around to getting it. It is weird... It has lizard people, blob people, and Astro goes to the land of rainbows and pink clouds. :eek: Ya it is more like a sequel then a prequel.

I flipped through them in the store back when they first came out, and they're...really not worth money. If you can get them for free or extreme cheap, go for it. But otherwise avoid them. At least NOW! Comics was able to make something vaguely-entertaining.

Yeah, was like a kid comic book. The drawings are better than Now Comics (shivers), but the story is...kinda odd. What are those blue watery people from Futurama doing in this and why did Tenma attack them with a red portable vacumm cleaner and Elefun in his freaky pink Barbie car? :eek:

Verrrry interesting.

I like the way they extended his speedos for modesty. I think one reason he looked "off character" because they were creating him based on the cg model. I laughed at the panel with the nearly naked reptilian princess flirtin' with "my voice just changed last week" Astro - :lol: coo coo cachoo Mrs. Robinson!

I guess the gemstone = The Force = God (I just KNEW that blue core thing was gonna creep back in - this explains how Astro can be permanently "recharged.")

And now he'll have THREE "Dads": Tenma, Elefun and Gemstone ball. Cool.

See . . . but I've heard all about the reptilians on Coast to Coast AM and I dunno, according to THOSE people, Astro was correct in believing the Stay Puft Marshmallow man!
 I'm a little confused now! Gonna go plant some tomatoes and cucumbers :heart:
