Alright guys, I have a very important question. I have a VHS (that's right one of those ancient things) of two Episodes of Astroboy with Korean Dubs. This came with Gatchaman action figure back in the mid 90's. But I can not find anything that even gives an inkling about the 60's Astroboy anime in Korea. I've been trying to find the opening song in Korean but to no avail, do I have some kind of rare VHS? And does anyone have the opening of Astroboy in Korean? It's basically Tetsuwan Atom but switched over to Korean. Please help me find something, it is a very important part of my childhood.

btw if you're wondering the VHS contains Episodes 23 and 52.

Well, I know China definatly didn't get Astro Boy until the 80s sereis came out (http://astroboyworld.blogspot.com/2010/02/chinas-animation-growing-pains.html), so it's just a guess, but I'd say it's the same in Korea. Remember, Japan was pretty cruel to China and Korea during WW2, and even today those two countries find thier treatment hard to forgive

I do know of the edgy relations between the three countries, but I just wish to find the Korean version of the song. The video is in color so you may be right about it being the 80's version, but the episodes match the 60's though. I'm just so confused over trying to find all of this.

80's is re-making of 60's, then they have same sub-titles in some episodes.

Well that does clarify which era the tape was made of. But I'm still looking for any info about the 80's show in Korea xD

Aw that Korean intro is cute! And on YouTube, I'll ad you as a friend, and that video as a part of my playlist of My Favorite Tezuka Anime songs. I don't know any Korean, but I'm guessing Astro also called Atom in that dub. BTW, on YouTube, my name is CartoonPrincess15.
