For a time, I was selecting who to go next. But instead everyone just kept posting in the thread "Will this hurry up?" and like.

I'm getting really sick of role-playing, I think I'll just leave.

My sister ask me one time about the RP and the question itself was at the time invaluable, until i made my halloween rp. the question was "what is the Etiquette in this? how are people supposed to act in the thread?" this question we should have answered in all "role plays" my sister said.

The Stuff in your Role Play (my sister said) This where the Etiquette guidelines come in where you have this sort of trouble (i've learned also on the Harry Potter Role Play).I agree, it is annoying that people get impatient and demanding and you tell them that, you need to be patient and that the plot goes on its own pace but then they don't like and leave the thread, tell them talk to you via PM not in the thread then everybody would be involved. that is partailly what got us in a mess along with too many posts in your Rp thread.

but if in a case, like people get impatient just in writing in a post just tell them, slow down and flow with plot. Impatient players are also common in Role play threads, the best you can do is tell them to slow down and remind them,if progress shows then keep it up until further notice, but always nicely and politely.

but people leaving that don't Role play much should not cause you to not to continue Rping as long as you have people playing the important characters in the plot then its not a problem, however, if they people in the list who need either a break or they have something important then i think its a good idea to take a break too, because then when they feel up to it they can pick up where they left off and so do you, with fresh idea's and happy players.

I hope you guys understand that i don't like threads dying, want to help the Role play threads here from turning into emotional messes for everybody

At the request of Astronomical girl, I am here. But I really do not want to become a moderator for RP; I feel that intrudes upon the creativity of those who intend to play here. So, somebody tell me what you want of me. :D

thank you jeffbert,
the troubles in the current and past threads are listed

1)impatience in the plot and in posting (i admit to both)

2) too many post but from few people (this as well)

3) people joining and then excluding themselves

these incidents are common in other Role Play but these incidents have gotten out of hand because there was no guidelines that is why I ask you to be here. So I ask,can you make, in your Role play discussion, a set of basic guidelines made especially for Astro-boy Online. with

1) for characters:because this is a Tezuka themed fan site, the Role play needs to be centered about the theme about the Tezuka world

2) Site rules: the site has rules and guidelines of it own but rules made by the moderators.

3) Etiquette: the word speaks for itself in terms of Role play, how to play out the game so that everybody involved isn't lost or uninterested.

basic rules, every RP thread needs these three to work efficiently and be fun.

People are free to come in and go as they please. I didn't mind everyone dropping out, it's just that the impatience and too many posts were getting to me.
