Your favorite episode from Astro Boy 2003 [threads merged]

Postby Rick » 13 years ago

The Astro Boy 2003 serie is full of dramatic. But which is your favorite episode? Tell me and the other user your favorite three episodes.

These are mine.

Number 1: The final battle. What is more dramatic as the last episode of Astro Boy 2003. The final encounter between Astro and Dr. Tenma. I was in tears as Astro Tenma embraced and said "I forgive you.". :astro: - :tenma:

Number 2: Showdown on Robotonia The battle is so intensive, but the dramatic point was when the rocket with Astro exploded. I almost cried.

Number 3: Atlas strike back I was so happy as i see that Atlas is back. He is one of my favorite Astro Boy 2003 characters. But than, he stayed in the plane that exploded. That was so sad.

That are my 3, but there are a lot more. What are your top 3? :astro:

1:Battle of Steel Island - Because of the choice Astro made to deflect his beam rather than harm/destroy Drake despite being very emotional.

2:The Final Battle - Same reason as you, the embrace and forgiveness to his 'father'.

3:Into Thin Air - The part that got me was where Astro and his friends were waving their flag to attract Denkou's attention and Astro took off like a bat out of heck to pick her up and fly her away to save the city, while still managing to save her and himself.

Reason: Added explanation for liking these 3 episodes

Certainly a double-click while creating the thread, a classic :D
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

I've merged both threads, is that okay?

And to reply to the question, I haven't watched the series in a few years, so my memory is fading away. But my favorite would also by "The Final Battle", for the same reasons you mentioned, and basically all the 5 to 6 last episodes.

I love all the parts where :tenma: is involved throughout the series. He reaches something in me; I know is mad and doing wrong things but he seems to do it out of suffering and that is what moves me. I find him intricate.
