In order to give the kids a fair chance, Cyrano buries his sniffer nose & plays right into the Roboid's hands; for now, the Roboid can approach him undetected.









Alas! I must omit the details of the battle, & skip ahead:

Recall Gesicht's death in117, Biggest Robot on Earth (part two)? His overturned hat said it all: he had fallen in battle; so too, Cyrano.




Quick! how does Atom usually (always) escape from electromagnetic fields?





Lolo persuades Atom to enter his home to see his bedroom.






Atom has just seen a portrait of Lolo's daddy.


Poor Lolo! All this time on earth, & no friends.




Atom overhears papa's statement about the earth robots.


The fight has begun, but Lolo is sad; his only friend id daddy's enemy.






When I saw this frame, I thought of Fred G. Sanford's heart attack routine: "I'm comin' to join ya, Elizabeth!"


The Roboid leader may be evil, but his believes in honor, & will not fight Atom unless he first refuels him.




"Lolo has run away from home!"


Lolo's footsteps use the same slide recorder sound effect that Atom's use.


Knowing nothing of earth, Lolo breaks into a military base.




Atom tries unsuccessfully to persuade Lolo to leave the area, & must take him by force.












Being ashamed that he had to battle his son's only friend, Roboid Leader repairs Atom, who had been shot down by the military.


He had lied to Lolo, & told him to go home, & papa would join him soon. But the Roboid parents had already decided that Mama & Lolo would return to the home planet alone. Papa's honor compelled him to stay.

Hey, Jeffbert . . . this is one hilarious screen cap. Is he in the middle of a "blink?" If there were a few more it could make a great animated gif (hint, hint!). I'd like to pass my butt-slapping Cobalt avatar onto Little Brown Fox, and this droopy Atom shot might be what I'm looking for.

Yes, papa Roboid died; he left himself open to the military's weapons & was killed. I consider it suicide.
