Looking thru the Mighty Atom episode guide I found the following. Unfortunately the best I could translate the Kanji was as "Ryoho" which loosely translates as "good keep or preserve (or guarantee). Another possible translation is "bastion".

Any way I include the panel below. Maybe Strangewing can do a better job.

I know not why, but this one was different:

What about the booklet that came with the DVDs? Also, is there anything about the same guy on the page for ROBOT FORTRESS?

Hm, that's an awfully tiny ship when you look at it...

Yeah it was a different shot. I still can't figure out why the movie mogel wanted to cause the ship and hovercraft to crash, and why the crowd didn't seem horrified by the impending disaster (maybe they thought it wasn't real?)

I thought this was just an unintended consequence of projecting the images over water.

Yes that is possible. The "fog" used as the screen would have been a problem for marine navigation and someone should have cleared the harbor first!

Well, the whole "screen" as it was, was blocking the light from the lighthouse, not to mention the issues the fog would've caused the ships themselves... I'm fairly certain that the density of fog tends to make it fall to a lower level and stay there, if nothing is moving it.
