At least I was able to watch it this week, I completely missed it last week. And I'm completely surprised on how they portrayed atom, the face that he's so hyper is kinda weird for me, but it is hilarious to watch him bust down doors and just destroy everything. (◕‿◕✿ ;)

Though I am sad that they ended the fourth episode early.

Overall, it was funny to see Atom like that but its not my cup of tea, it's just a little too spastic of a show for me to watch. I just wanted to see how they made astro, like just Doctor Ochanomizu create him or was he already there?? I never got to watch the first episode to see how he was created... (⊙﹏⊙✿ ;)

They didn't talk about Astro boy's birth on episode 1. The first episode was about a race. However, Astro Boy's parents showed up in episode 2. :)

that kinda sucks, I always love the scenes when they create Atom. ; o ;)

And I'm assuming his parents were robots too? :o

On the credits they were referred to as his parents, so he might live with them later on. But for now, he lives with Ochanomizu. But then again, I’ve missed episode 4 because the stream broke.

This show is too light hearted and bubbly for it to get into 'heavy' subjects such as Astro's creation. I doubt that we will see ANY background info on ANY of the characters. Hamegg is portrayed like the bad guys on "Dastardly and Muttley" (which is about right for this show). The tone of the way the cartoon is drawn is almost 'dream like', and makes me think of a cartoon version of "Willy Wanka" or the land of Oz. It's actually something that would fit in to the cartoon segment of shows like 'Romper Room', 'Captain Kangaroo' or 'Howdy Doody'(if anyone here remembers those shows. Speaking of which, who remembers 'Tom Terrific'?)

I think 'Little Astro Boy' was produced digitally, and Channels TV is having computer problems with it as the studdering audio and lost 'footage' last night seems to show. I also wonder if anyone was even in the control room at at the studio, there was NO mention of 'difficulties'.

I can't imagine that they won't re-run the episodes again sometime, the production cost to only run it once isn't worth it. Maybe they will offer a DVD of the show later on.
(Does Amazon have an outlet in Nigeria?).

Isn't it possible to plug the speaker jack into the mic? If you have the right cable it might just work.[/QUOTE]

I don't, but it's a built-in mic anyway. There's no port for it. Built-in speakers too. Well it's a laptop!

I really needed to go to bed, but I wanted to be up for at least one episode, once! It's fast-paced, as has been pointed out previously in this topic, and this combined with the stuttering and my extremely tired brain made the show incredibly hard to follow.

It was definitely cute though. :astro:  I wish the little segment with Astro and his friends dancing would have been longer. :D Nice use of the :hyo: , too.
