This Tuesday, all 8 episodes of Little Astro Boy will be screened at MIPTV 2014 in Cannes, France, which is "a content market for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment content" according to Wikipedia. According to the link, "Tezuka Productions and Yomiuri TV Enterprise are going forward with joint production plans [] overseas, and it wants to pursue sales and co-investments worldwide".

It'll be interesting to see if any international deals happen during this regarding Little Astro Boy.

Be funny if after the deep, dramatic, high standard animated version of 2003 and the big expensive CGI version both failed to make a world wide impact, this small, silly, more simply animated and written version turns out to be the big hit :p
