Yeah, which makes no sense since that movie came out in 1966. I think the same plot was used in an earlier movie, or did Jewison get the idea from Tezuka?

A Soviet sub becomes beached on a New England coast. The crew desperately try to get help in freeing it, w/o revealing their ID as Russians.

...
Two children in a clock tower, or some other high building, slide out onto the roof, are screaming for help, & the Russians save them. :p

BTW - I didn't think of that funny shot of Atom with "big teeth" as the same thing. . . it's just that usually, his smile is show as an open mouth, but no teeth are exposed (same when he's talking). I think that's why that frame caught my attention. :lol:

I never really noticed that they hardly ever show his teeth to be honest, you have an eagle eye.
