Ooo neat! Thanks for asking them, AprilSeven. I like how each Astro Boy adaptation does something different with Atlas. Having Atlas look like Astro could be really interesting. Maybe he was a prototype?

Or maybe they're the same person? Alter-ego and stuff like that. A sort of "war-mode". It's not impossible, even if it is unlikely. It'd be cooler than him simply being built to destroy Astro or some predictable schlock like that... unless there was a very good reason why he has to subdue Astro. Y'know, making him a "not as big of a jerk as you could have been" type of character. I'd like to see some redeemable qualities like that.

I wonder if Atlas may instead be a computer virus of some sort in this series as opposed to being a separate robot. Being that Astro is a robot with a computer for a brain it is likely that a virus could easily corrupt him into becoming a villain, it'll be interesting if that is the case. Having Atlas as a Jekyll and Hyde concept.

The 鉄腕アトム Fan added that image to her signature after it was posted in this thread. When someone changes their signature on here, that signature is added to older posts as well (though I believe that change is not immediate).

new Atlas seems interesting. So we're literally going with the evil twin story huh? I'll hold opinions until I see this in action
The art style is growing on me more. Is it just me, or does it have a slight "My life as a Teenage Robot" vibe going?
