I had already taken a few notes because I was planning to post them here. Since I've seen this topic today, I decided to go on with the translation and post them, however I'm only halfway through the movie. I still have more notes written down, but in order to make sense I'd have to watch part of the movie again. I'll do that later or simply post what I already have if I don't have time (or realize I'm about to forget again!
).
Of course, the following is a spoiler!
For the beginning of the story (first 20 minutes, before the action really began), read the introduction I posted earlier in this thread (read my December 3rd post, or maybe December 4th depending on where you live).
).Of course, the following is a spoiler!
Led by Jack la balafre (literally "Jack the scar"), earthlings attack Améthyste. Jack says he is looking for money, but Vif-Argent says it doesn't exist on Améthyste. Earthlings find very funny that Vif-Argent intends to fight them with a sword instead of a gun, but Jack agrees to fight Vif-Argent in a sword battle. If Vif-Argent wins, Jack will leave his planet. Otherwise, Vif-Argent's fate will be in Jack's hands. Vif-Argent loses and Jack accuses him of lying because he had said he was the only inhabitant as well as an earthling himself, while earthlings just found Étoilia and Jack doesn't believe he's really an earthling. Both Vif-Argent and Étoilia are taken onto Jacks ship, but Etoilia mysteriously vanishes. Jack drops Vif-Argent in a desert on another planet (not Earth), give him a gun that doesn't work and tells him that they'll meet each others again if he manages to survive. Vif-Argent then thinks he recognizes Étoilia in a little pink creature, so he tries to save her from two crooks, but the creature denies being Étoilia.
At this point, I suggest going back in this thread to read the translation of the scene at the saloon that I posted in an earlier message, on December 4 (or maybe December 5 depending of the time difference!).
At this point, Vif-Argent decides he'll reach the den of the Adjustable Spanner band; in an « audio flashback », we can hear Ed say that king Pobo 7, the king of Pomona, a planet close to the one they are on, knows who the murderer is (in other words, who made the spaceship explode). Ed also says that earthlings have decided to take over Pomona and that for that reason, they kidnapped Marina, the kings daughter (note: for some reason, for the rest of the movie, her name is not Marina anymore but Florianne instead! ). Marina/Florianne is kept in the dan of the Adjustable Spanner band, and they will let her go only if her father agrees to let earthlings rule his planet, Pomona. Ed says that if Vif-Argent could bring back Marina/Florianne to her planet, the king would reward him by telling him everything he wants to know.
Disguised as Magnésium, the robot member of the Adjustable Spanner band who has exploded earlier, Vif-Argent reaches the den, where the pink creature, who had spied on Dracula, warns him that a monster will put Florianne in a capsule and send her to space in order to hide her. Vif-Argent asks the pink creature to hide as a mat in the capsule so she'll be able to free Florianne. While chasing Dracula, Vif-Argent manages to beat the monster, free Florianne, then borrow a spaceship from the dan of the Adjustable Spanner band and reach Pomona with Florianne.
