I wanted to do an in depth analysis of what I really learned from "Denkou".
Did I attain Denkou...
Yes I am certain I did. But first I had to apply the Jitsu in a sensible art project that would test my ability to adapt to change.

I got my hands on a public domain print of "Golem" and I ripped out the old Debussy soundtrack and replaced it with my own electronic soundtrack.
I then processed the film through a series of programs and screen blasted it into a special "Chroma" version that has a 3D effect without glasses.
Here is what Uran would call "A Card" according to the Game.

This image is for the promotional campaign, and consists of a simple frame grab from the .mpg version of the film. I will not be streaming the .mpg as yet because the file is 1.5gig-6gig depending on the quality of .mpg, and the 3D effect is more pronounced at higher res.

Do you mean for your signature? That was me. We know some members are more sensitive than others, and the public hints and warnings we posted in the past went unnoticed or ignored, so we (the mods) tried to find a humorous and effective way to solve the problem.

As I can see, it's impossible to please everybody. Some wouldn't like to be told publicly, while you would have preferred it that way.

The entire idea is to develop cyber community. Whatever you guys do is fine with me. However if I may mention any points it would be this...

1. Astroboy is anime and may contain acts of violence and may contain mature themes....
2. Anime is the same. To say remembrance of WWII and it's causes and effects are not for children at Astroboy, and then have cartoons that feature fighting against world conquest and bioterrorism is to say the least hypocritical. Themes of bioterrorism and evil conspiracy are Astro's Forte'...
3. Almost all anime deals with the cosmic divine in some way. Astro deals with the Crown of solomon and war against the underworld powers in allegory and metaphor in the person of Acheron, and Pluto... Are we to ignore the mythic genesis of such conflict, the very inspiration to the artist, because some schmuck wants no talk of what he feels is religion? What is such a closed mind doing editing Astroboy? Pluto threw himself into the lake of fire to save Astro and Mu'Lan.... He took Acheron with him. The prejudice of a clik will not stop that cartoonland trurh from being seen all through the Pacific rim, which is the sphere of Astroboy influence. The conflict in Astroboy the new series will not change. And in the film to come, GHOST themes will abound. And there will even be DAEMONS.....
How will you look when the movie comes out and your error will be everywhere self evident along with what was attempted by certain factions...

Now I don't think you and the MODS would dare have an open debate on Robotics, Cyber Culture, or Whats in Astroboy for that matter....

I did see a few documentaries about robots, & it does seem that the Golem was the 1st "artificial human" in literature, although that discounts literature in cultures unknown.

However, both that & the 'robots' of RUR were not robots as we know them. They were not electro-mechanical; but rather biological or perhaps magical.

No, actually your post was hurting my brain just to read it. However, if I may paraphrase the part to which you refer (madness):

Some poeple dislike the idea of exposing children to violence, whether real of fictitious. To this, you disagree. I takethe middle ground. Some children are just too young (I should say immature) to burden with knowledge of the world. They live in a world about which they know very little, & initially assume that life outside their homes is much like life inside it:

• Mommy loves me, Daddy loves me, I love them, & they love each other.

These children use this as the basis for their 'knowledge' of the world. That mommy & daddy rule over the children is expanded to cover the outside world:

• Governments rule citizens the way parents rule children

The idea that some people kill other people is frightening to these children. In fact, their knowledge of death is usually restricted to hamsters & goldfish, assuming they even know that much. Many parents hide the deaths of loved ones from their children by saying that they had to go far away. In fact, that is how the English version handled "Memory Day."

The English version made death into a far journey to another planet. Death was thought to be an inappropriate topic for a kids' cartoon. But there are stages in childhood when things ought to be revealed.

That is why The Sensei himself designed Astroboy in the first, Alpha incarnation to be a copy of Astar Boyton... A child who died in an auto wreck.
The entire psychology is based on a tension between this world and the spirit world. Does Astro possess a ghost? The ghost of of Astre Boynton?
Astro fights monsters, monsters that kill people. These are recuring themes in early Astroboy cartoons as the Sensei meant it to contain. Themes of war, death, violence. It is the revisionist psychologist that wants thought control of every aspect of child psychology. I warned you in the beginning, that Astroboy was the icon of a warrior class. From earliest childhood.
The timidity and restraint of violence of which you speak is pure hypocrisy in the Astroboy cartoon universe and is against the very TRUTH of the revelation of the nature. THE NATURE! Of the concept of Astroboy itself....
Such though is alien to the very SOUL of the anime. You produce tertiary publications by PC wannabees.... But when the people that OWN the Astroboy trademark make their cartoon, it will contain
1.Sex...
2. Violence...
3.Death...
4.War....
5. Daemons... Like in the game?? Astro vs the Demons? You remember?

And there is nothing that you or anyone with you can do about it...

Maybe it is not about hiding the truth, but merely learning it in a not too fast pace, cybotron. jeffbert told it to you: children have a naive and kind way to perceive the world, they will learn soon enough the hard reality of the world. No hiding, rather not too early exposition.

Astroboy is not a childrens cartoon perse'....
It is modern Japanese anime. Made for the taste of Japanese artists.
And as I said who do you think you are? To rewrite the Sensei's intention to suit your own ridiculous agenda? Who are you to overthrow his psychological formulae for your own lamebrained sensibilities?
Astrtoboy deals with death from the first minute of the first episode because that's how the Sensei wanted it. The Race hate of "save the robot farm" with it's attempted MURDER. This is notG rated kidfare and you cannot make it so... It was never intended for the purpose to which some seek to twist it.
I mean if I get banned by PC Astroboy usurpers I don't care. I would now be a hero for the anime crowd because I opposed the nonsense. The folly of trying to make Astroboy into a telle tubby cartoon....
If you have such ludacris concerns about children's TV, why come here with it? There is no place in Astroboy for non violence, anti war, anti militarism, death control, restraint or constraint CENSORSHIP.....
