A long time ago I cut out sugar. For a couple of weeks I felt really tired, but then I felt better and all my regular food tasted sweeter. I can't eat sugar much now because it tastes way too sweet.

If you mean "unusual", know that it is not in so-called developped countries. Sugar is everywhere, and it is very easy to eat too much sugar. I had to cut sugar because of that too

It's one thing to actually join a club, it's another to actually go regularly... and not quit after 3 months. ;) Congratulations! :w00t: But I also wish you good luck! :D

There is no way I'd even join one unless I had somebody to go with me. I just know I wouldn't last very long by myself. I discovered a few years ago that the best way to remain active was to choose an activity that I really enjoyed doing, so I didn't have to tell myself "well now is time to exercise".
...

Same way I feel, Too bad my activities involve sitting behind a chess board, rather than anything actually physically active.

My main activity is computer related, therefore sitting before a screen all day (working and non-working days).
So people usually think... Not so long ago, computer handling forced me to crouch below a very low desktop, to reach a USB socket very smartly put behind a difficult to move (and difficult to access) computer  There was barely enough space to simply go there, almost no space behind to lie down, and of course after that, there had still to move around the computer
And most people still think that being in computers means no sport :shifty:

No way could I either :D However I had to cut on the quantities. No more cookies at the end of each meal. Since more than 2 years, only 1 each week
