00 Princess Knight (Pilot)

There were several differences between this pilot & the series itself.

  1. Only the pilot showed Tink's mischief that gave Sapphire a boy's heart
  2. The graphics are much darker. This may be attributed to the restoration process.
  3. Only the pilot showed Sapphire interested in girls' pursuits. The anime had her steadfastly avoiding them

PRINCESS KNIGHT (PILOT FILM)

I hope nobody is offended with these images. They are similar to the depictions of children & cherubs in American cartoons of the same time.

These are the babies awaiting their hearts. Blue for boys, & pink for girls. These two are obviously arguing about something.

Having obtained the boy's heart, Tink now proceeds:

"oh no! TINK, What have you done?"

Tink is dispatched to Earth to correct his error. :D

Boy's heart

Tink is trying to explain to Sapphire why she has a boy's heart.

Mr. Hell is unsuccessful in his attempt to pursuade his daughter to accept Sapphire's girl's heart. Hekate is a tomboy, & does not want to become a dainty little girl.

Jeffbert you astound me....
Heaven...
Death...
rebirth....
Every forbidden subject. In what appears to be a very beautiful anime.
Thanks for the love. :santa:
But why are there all these missing pictures?

For instance...

I put 20 images in the 00 directory. You refer to the #1 backup server, which is currently inactive. Bullguard has two backup servers, #2 is presently active. However, if I limited the URLs to "https://backup2.bullguard.com..." then when #1 is active, there would be no images displayed. Thus, I include both URLs.

Thanks, jeffbert!

The Sapphire series is available here, in French, but I was too young... well, actually, I wasn't even born when it went on air. I'm afraid I won't really be able to enjoy it if I watch it now.

Oh Jeffbert dear buddy. I don't mean to bother you if it's too much trouble.
But could I please be able to see these pictures now as well?

And you come from France do you Astro Forever? That's one of my favourite countries of the world. :D

Thank you Jeffbert. They're great. :D
If Madman can ever release a boxset of Choppy and the Princess they should also release this movie to accompany it.

Is it a pilot as in a proper prequel? I find it hard to believe so, for I've seen the fansub of episode 1 and it opens with Tink/Choppy searching for the Princess. But these pictures would indicate that he already finds her in the course of this pilot. It would seem to be more like a stand alone "reboot" next to the series.

Several scenes are included in episode 8 "The Phantom Horse," however, the pilot itself was included on disc 10, as the last episode.
