No doubt Cybertron this was the best Tom Baker episode. Well casted, especially Peter Miles who played General Naider, that guy was so evil he put all the movie nazis to shame!

Saddly mister Miles passed away in 2002.

Both Doctor Who and Astro Boy (the original series of both) aired the same year - 1963. ^.^

The Doctor has been my favorite hero since 2005, even before I found Astro this year, and now the two of them share that spot! (I can quite easily imagine the two of them meeting, actually.)

This is one episode I'm really looking forward to! I watch the "new" series as they come out of Doctor Who, but I just started with the 1st Doctor several months ago, and I'm hoping eventually to watch the whole series (a tall order to be sure). Still, I'm tempted to watch this one out of order just because it's so very well known and I've heard a lot of raves about it.

But yeah, Doctor Who is perhaps my favorite series on earth. I just love it! Astro Boy is right there with it now too. =)
