I just realized that the musical scores for both Uncle & Batman were composed by the same guy. Once I recognised a similarity in the music, I checked the composer. http://www.nelsonriddlemusic.com/nr_tv.htm

UNCLE theme was written by Goldsmith and batman by Neal Hefti
Riddle I don't know what he had to do with it...

BTW, I recently viewed Cool McCool disc 1, & wondered if he was modelled on Robert Vaughn.
