How's this movie going to work?! I do have a horrible feeling it's going to be like the Garfield movie or the Rocky & Bullwinkle movie, being there's a bunch of CGI Smurfs running around, with a guy dressed like Gargamel.

I'm going to quietly let this pass me by, and hope that it doesn't turn into another Alvin and the Chipmunks...I thought they were kidding about the Smurf movie, the Pacman movie and the Cowboy Bebop movie, but they're all true. (I hadn't noticed it before, but it seems like any foreign series, retro series or comic series is getting a movie in this millenium!)

Actually, I'm a little optimistic for this. Mainly because I've heard the Director of Toy Story 2 is directing this. I know this because he was supposed to do Astro Boy but dropped it for this.
And for the record, the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie was COOL!
