I was looking at the members list and was wondering what on trial meant? I was just curious.

It means that the user can post on the forum, but his post will not show to everybody until a moderator performs an action to allow it to show on the forum.

It was created so that when we spotted a potential spammer, we could put him on trial. We didn't want to ban somebody who had a weird nickname, for example, just because he *may* be a spammer but more often than not the people who we thought were spammers turned out to be just that. But should a member turn out to be an Astroboy fan, then it didn't prevent him from joining the forum.

We have a lot more spam than what you are seeing here but thanks to a lot of work from Vergere, not many show.
