I was wondering if anyone here is a Princess Knight fan? Because I found something, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it...

So, I better start off with an explanation for my "discovery".
Well, awhile ago, I read Mr. Arashi's Amazing Freak Show by Suehiro Maruo (I know that kind of stuff isn't everyone's cup of tea, but hey), and I found it rather interesting. Then, I found out that there was also a movie adaptation of the manga, so I decided to try and find it.
Sadly, I couldn't find the whole movie, but I did find some short clips of it, and in one of the clips I found this:



Now, maybe I'm just imagining things, but the girl on the thermos reminds me of a character from Princess Knight (or at least, looks similar to a character).
I've never read Princess Knight, but I've seen clips and scans of it, and I thought she kind of looked like a Princess Knight character.
It would make sense, because I read somewhere Suehiro Maruo worked on Princess Knight.

So, does anyone know if the girl on the thermos is a Princess Knight character? Or, am I just imagining things.

In Princess Knight, Sapphire wears a blond wig & dresses in an elegant gown. Yet, I do not recall ever seeing her wear a crown while so attired. I have the anime on DVD & have seen 1 of the manga versions, but there is a different manga version that might feature her in a blond wig & wearing a crown.

Huh, maybe it was just loosely based off Sapphire? It starting to look that way...

The character on the thermos reminds me of Sailor Moon. She was the Princess of the Moon Kingdom and that looks like a school bag in the picture. It could be Princess Serena/Moon's schoolbag and thermos flask. Perhaps the picture is a scene from Sailor Moon?

Incidentally Sailor Moon is a very good anime series. Next to Princess Knight, Astroboy or anything Tezuka related I love it the best.

I don't know a lot about Sailor Moon (I haven't watched it since I was a kid), but it could be a Sailor Moon character.
The movie came out in 1992, same time the Sailor Moon series started.
