I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!! I watch it every year, and actually saved the TV Guide from the year it first ran -- they had an article about the "advanced special effects" -- I think this was from around 1965?

That's sad news, but isn't it interesting that Astro and Rudolph were both voiced by women named "Billie" - hmmm
