Well THANK YOU FOR RETHINKING your earlier inclination, and staying here. You're are a VERY IMPORTANT part of the whole personality of this place!!

To be honest, I thought of you along with Fauna and a couple other members who might be asked to be the new moderator! For a young woman you have so much insight, information and passion. You're creative and share freely, and THANKS TO YOUR MEGAMAN THREAD, I'm going to check him out. Why not? I don't feel he threatens my beloved Astro.

And please don't be too hard on yourself about this. You pour a lot of yourself into this site, and it's only logical we'd experience your frustration at different times. I've seen grumpy and/or droopy remarks from pretty much everyone here at one time or another. Don't be afraid to ask us for support or if you feel we've been unfair and disrespectful - it might not have been intentional, and you give us a chance to rally around you and show you how much you really do mean to us. **big hug**

We're not perfect, but we have a cool bunch of people here (and you're one of them)

I only just got back and noticed, so sorry for not replying sooner.

I don't really know what to say...other than I'm shocked. I say one comment about Mega Man and you think it's directed at you? Well I'm going to tell you straight out it wasn't and I'm offended you even thought that.

The fact you posted a thread afterwards titled "leave Mega alone" made me feel like you having a go at me. And you say about a lack of respect...Did you even realize you were being disrespectful to me by posting that thread, just 27 minutes after replying me?

I'm sorry that I've made you feel this way, but you shouldn't be offended by someone having a different opinion on something, especially when the comment wasn't directed at you personally but a fictional character. Just because it's my view doesn't mean that's the only view.

Every person has a right to free speech. Not everyone is identical, we all have likes and dislikes. Frankly the world would be boring if we were all exactly the same.

So what if I don't like Mega Man? You do and that's what important Karen, not what other people say! Please don't think because they don't like the same things or say something bad about it that they're offending you, when they wouldn't even dream of being mean to you!

I'm very sorry you feel that way, Dr. Jwrk. But, as a few keep saying, sometimes you need to take some time off the internet to actually think a bit. The internet can be a very stressful place sometimes. I haven't been to many forums (since I prefer to stick to this site...), but at one forum, I got kind of chewed up. There was a huge lack of netiquette and maturity. Everyone here is very respectful, though. All in all, I'm really glad that you decided to stay. For a young adult, you display a lot of maturity. I like to read what you post a lot, since your comments are very intelligent, and, most of all, written with care. I don't know if this comment even counts, but, anyways... ^^; I hope you'll be feeling better soon. *Huge hug*

See this is why I feel that I lack maturity, and it became another reason for me to feel like leaving.

I will say however that you weren't the first, and that I had heard many such things before, so I guess it was kind of a straw that broke the camel's back. I was also dealing with a lot of stress that day, such as the fact that I had gotten Charlie Horse'd in the morn and was feeling rotten because of it, among other things.

But those shouldn't be excuses, and even then I'm not trying to make them sound like excuses.

I still shouldn't be on these forums. Leaving would be better off for everyone.
