Was tempted before to make this, but now I'm going for it!

POST YOUR DESKTOP SCREENSHOTS HERE, PEOPLE!

RULES:

1. Keep pics at or under 700px wide. Don't want them too big or they'll stretch the page. Also, lag is evil. So there.
2. Don't post like 7 times a day. Change is good, but too much of a good thing can be bad for your cholesterol level. So there.
3. Please respect the age demographic on this site. AKA, you know exactly what I mean. (perverts)
4. Got a cool desktop? Wanna share it? Post a download link, whydontchya?!

So, here we go.

Good idea!

I had my computer reformatted two months ago and have yet to select a background picture. As a result, my background is currently dark blue.

I win the award of the "most boring desktop", I'm sure!

I've indeed often been baffled that this site didn't have such a thread!

My heroes.

This is like my 3rd Tezuka-related desktop in a row. I've been thinking about adding a couple more characters in there, but it can be hard to find high quality pictures of some shows, especially Dororo.

And gotta give credit to Blue Glacier for the Astro Boy pic.

Well, since this took me less then two minutes.

Here is my desktop with my lovely God of War background. (Yes, I am a huge fan of Kratos.) And I still use XP. I will upgrade to Windows 7 eventually, but for now I'm happy with XP.

The third column is mainly all my PC games. As of now I'm mainly playing KOTOR, WoW, and Crysis 2.

the difference is I used to use gnome on ubuntu desktop but with the switch to unity and the impending removal of gnome completely I went back to kde.

yes I said back to kde, I used kde for years on mandriva linux, switched to ubuntu and gnome and now switched to kde on ubuntu.

I switched to ubuntu because mandriva fell apart, the company that is.

these are from my new laptop, the desktop computer looks or will look more or less the same and my old laptop is not getting upgraded to 11.04 so it still looks like the first screenshot, sorta.

Hell yea. I love Fallout and Elder Scrolls. *Looks at you picture* Sims 2? Really!? I'm disappointed in you! Naw, I'm kidding.

Windows 7. I've always used the classic theme on every version since the Fisher Price theme in XP scared me off. A computer should look the way it acts, simple and functional.

@F-Man - Man, I may have to change my theme...

Everyone, meet Kemper, Novacain's computer. Since I tripped on some stairs and sprained my foot (hopefully just a sprain) all I can do is sit with my buddy Kemper. So you'll be seeing alot of me on here today.
