Fortunately here at ABO we have amazing moderators and administrators that prevent this kind of thing from happening! I know that several other forums (such as the Saint Seiya English forum, tsk tsk) do NOT have good moderators and thus flame battles and gossip and hurt feelings are too common. Here people are more wary and much more polite and usually adhere to common sense. If you can't say something nice - don't say anything at all.

Maybe it's because us Tezuka fans know more about the true meaning of life and love and being a kind person after reading his works?

Fans of Tezuka DO generally seem to be more liberal and tolerant and well behaved than the average person. Of course this is not accurate all across the board but it's something I have noticed.

Gossiping is so rude, I can't stand it.

@ tailz: If you had a Black Jack tracking device, what would you do with it? Follow him everywhere and creep him out for the pure fun or it?

If I had a super-advanced Atomu tracking device, here are just a few things I'd use it to do:

1. Find out where he is after school. (And then stare like a creep from a dark shadowy corner because he looks so freaking adorable in his uniform shirt and shorts and little boots.)
2. Find out when he gets dressed for gym and spy on him in the changing room.
3. And every time I spy on him getting dressed for gym class, I will take snapshots of him - in only his gym shorts with his shirt half buttoned up.

Though, I would mostly just stalk him everywhere he goes just for the fun of it. (Like when he's performing surgery on someone. I've always wanted to see live surgeries! )

Well, why not? I watched episode #8 of Cyborg 009 (1968) series today on Veoh and I decided to take this screenshot. I thought it would be a pretty good screenshot to take, so here it is. (Maybe cause I think Joe is cute is the reason why I took it? I'm not sure why, but I took it so yeah. ) I also watched the Re: Cyborg 009 movie on Monday, and it was pretty good. I didn't understand it much, (I mean, it had english subs and Japanese audio.) But it was a good movie and you should watch!

Cyborg 009 is an animated series which was first created back in 1968 and was created by Shotaro Ishinomori. It is still popular today.

I really need to rewatch this series, that and Kikaider.

I first watched the Cyborg 009 2001 series when my mother bought the DVD unedited and uncut collection for my two bros. and I when we were little. I liked very much. That is, until it stopped on like episode 10.

I decided to re watch the first few episodes years later on the first disc, and then watch the rest on youtube. (The first episode I watched on youtube was a X-Mas episode, cause it was christmas eve the day I watched it so I was like why not? XD)

I've never seen kikaider yet.

Kikaider is a little more mature than 009 and has some nudity in it. Not sure if it would be your cup of tea, but it's a classic and the story is solid.

How much nudity? X3 I can only take brief nudity and such. (Like the OVA series of Black Jack for ex. It has some nudity in it here and there, but not much like most animes out there.)

Also, is it about robots or technology? Doctors?

It's been a while since I've seen Kikaider. It's not terribly bad with the nudity, I say that it was about the same as the Black Jack OVAs. It was shown on Adult Swim after all a loooong time ago.

It's about an amnesiac robot (yeah, that tired scenario) that teams up with a bunch of other robots that are his siblings along with this human girl named Mitsuke and they band together to do this or that. I really can't remember much at all... which is why I need to re-watch the series The last time I saw this was when I was like 13. That was... 13 years ago.

Sounds interesting. Maybe I'll watch it one of these days.

Though, it sounds like one of those animes where I'll watch a few episodes, and never finish the rest cause I'll get bored of it really quick.
