I suppose bifocals may be useful, but my parents had them to the exclusion of reading glasses. I recall my dad, under the kitchen sink, vainly trying to fix a leak, but he needed the close vision at the top of the lenses, & simply could not see what he was doing.

I do not know if they even had a spare pair; I have 2 spares.

I just bought a paperback copy of Kokoro by Soseki Natsume off of ebay. It's a Japanese novel translated into English, written toward the end of the Meiji era.

John Hiatt's 1987 album Bring the Family. Got interested in him when I read a short article about him in a local paper while on break at work. Anyone heard of him?

A pair of mint colored skinny jeans and a pair of matching sweatpants, two shirts, and some hair ties.
Macy's is amazing. I got one of those shirts for 4 bucks without coupons.

I found a used copy of the 2003 Astro Boy DVD series set on Ebay for $12 (free shipping). Normally I don't like buying used DVD's (they can be very badly scratched and skip) but I didn't want to pay too much for this set. One of these days I hope I can buy a legal sub'ed wide screen copy. Anyway, they arrived today, and while the box sleeve was a bit worn the disks didn't even have as much as a finger print on them!
