Just received my new laptop battery that I ordered a few days ago. My old one isn't dead, but it's gotten to the point where it only holds a 2 hour charge from a full battery and will automatically shut off my computer once it gets to 10% battery life.

They say that you should replace your laptop battery every 2 years. Considering I've had mine for almost 34 months and considering the condition it's in, I figured it was time to buy a new one.

I've been blessed that my current laptop battery has been operating the same even after a year.

Right now I am looking at wedding dresses and I think I have just the right one in mind.... I'll post a picture of it if I get it.

Shiyonasan ... hope you didn't get a cheap Chinese knock off, OEM batteries are more expensive, but the third party ones can be risky. I was lucky to find a REAL Lenovo battery for my thinkpad on Ebay at much less than full list price.
