My gran died today

It was peaceful, she just dosed off and that was it. It was just a few days after her 97th birthday. I think she held out for it, that and for dad to get there before she went. He held her hand until she died, so she wasn't alone.

I'm relieved really, she was suffering ever since she'd had her stroke and just wanted to go. She kept saying that.

At least she can see David, she missed him a lot.
