Oops! I should have said that other than Pipi, there were none. That is, unless Triton is portrayed by Musashi.

Hmm... So maybe it's true that all productions have some sort of cameo?

It has been said that some of the adult stories have none, but who knows.

Yeah, I think I remember seeing a stand-alone animation that Tezuka did that may or may not be on youtube that details his thoughts about how memory works. It was in a completely different style than his normal illustration type. That absolutely did NOT have any cameos. Though maybe the gourde character showed up, can't remember as it's been years since I've seen it.

I do have a short list in my mind which i would want to see the most animated even from ones i haven't read the manga from.
some would be a long shot since most real Gekiga stories have never gone that well with being animated so you can for example rule out that Adolf would ever be animated
-The Crater (Twilight Zone-ish stories would be great having those animated)
-Alabaster (would be great to make a feature film out of it)
-Rainbow parkeet Tezuka's most famous thief caracter would be amazing to be animated and it's not to dark
-Midnight i feel like would be epic as a 13 episodes or so series
-Prince Norman
-Hato
-Shumari
Lion Books and other short stories only a few where animated
-Lost world
- a real new treasure Island short since that was tezuka's first big hit
-MW
-Ode to Kirihito
-Barbara
-Our atmosphere
-Grigino
Apollo's song ?
And do i REALLY have to mention ALL OF PHOENIX uncut in one series for the love of god

All of Phoenix would be so difficult. They attempted an anime of it but I fear that although the animation was stellar and it kept core concepts of the original manga, it left a lot to be desired.
The series was said to be Tezuka's life's work as well so I know they treated the project with respect and did the best they could. Phoenix is not even completed so that's another hurdle to deal with.
