Strictly speaking, the pirates got only hashed passwords, which means they have to actually crack them to use them. In this case it is good practice to change the password, but there is no need to get paranoid :D
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.
