I do remember Space Ghost & Dino Boy, & had borrowed the JQ DVDs from NetFlix a few years ago. Even as an adult, I must say that at least 2 episodes were really creepy!

About the faster than light thing, Space 1999 had an episode featuring a propulsion system whose exhaust was extremely destructive & that is about all I recall; I assume it had a very fast speed.

I think I remember the 1999 story, but the one I'm thinking of was a cartoon.

Anyone remember the evil organization PSST? Not a cartoon, but funny as the $6M Man fought against 'villains' who thought that kids should go to Public School Saturday & Sunday, Too. Maybe if they had halfway succeeded, the USA would not be so far behind some other nations in Math & science.

I remember watching when they did the previews for the cartoons. That was a big thing for me to see what the new cartoons were going to be.
