:o hmy: suddenly, all my tabs open to AB-online were redirected to NORTON warning pages saying the site was unsafe. I clicked DETAILS on one tab, and it indicated the site was annoying.

It might be simply because we are running an older version of vBulletin. I'll let the experts know anyway, but I'd be surprised if it was something new here.

Nice one, cybotron!

I am pretty sure it is nothing to worry about, it is just Norton being weird.

Actually, there is something odd here, although it is unlikely to impact us. We found something that looks like a phishing page. It doesn't seem to be accessible from our forum, but if you see anything even remotely suspicious, don't hesitate to mention it here (or to send a private message to a moderator). In the meantime, we are investigating and trying to fix the issue.

Interesting, it must have been placed by someone. As, if it was a bot, it would have been spotted far sooner.

Our hosting service seems to have trouble pinpointing the exact source of the problem, which is proving resilient. Apparently, there is a phishing page associated to the site. Visiting and posting here is not a problem as long as you are sure you have the right URL. If you are coming here from your bookmarks, for example, you are not at risk. Otherwise, pay attention to the URL when logging in.

If the hosting service finds no solution, it might consider suspending the site until it is fixed. Therefore, there is a possibility that our forum is going to be down in the next hours or days. Should that happen, we can't predict how long it would take to bring it back, but we are already planning ahead, just in case. In any case, we won't give up. :)

We have already saved all e-mail addresses from the active members from 2014 up to now just in case we would want to provide information. If you find the forum inaccessible, you can contact this e-mail address to enquire: astroboy-online-infos at wotan.linkpc.net

Update: it is confirmed that this website had absolutely nothing to do with the phishing page, so we're good. We're not sure whether/when Norton will check the page again, however. Mark will keep a close eye on the situation.
