I feel like a doof asking this...

Postby I-Am-Atom's-Sister » 13 years ago

Okay, ever since I found out his plotline, Astro has been my #1 obsession, I love him and anything he is involved with. Every other thought is about him. I've seen every single thing about him EXCEPT what explains the following question:
WHO IS PLUTO??

I understand that they have something to do with Atom, but I don't know now. I know it's a character and there's a english version with the title "The Rise Of Pluto" But I dunno.

:confused: <Who's Pluto?
:astro: < You dunno? LOL
:d oh:<Just answer
:astro: <Naw. You're helpless. AHAHAHAA
Clothed Astro = cute little robot kid;
Naked Astro= Big damn hero.

Aside from Pluto being a million-horsepower horned robot out to destroy other robots of equal or similar power, he's also the main antagonist in a manga of the same name, by Naoki Urasawa. I don't know if you've heard of that series before, but it's pretty interesting, and all the Astro Boy characters are shown in a realistic style.

Makes me wonder why they named him after the smallest planet (at the time, of course... :p ) since he's not exactly small.

I think its because Pluto in mythology is the Roman god of the underworld. It kinda makes sense...but Shadow actually did that :lol:

I would explain it, but I've already done that with several other members and friends, so I'm starting to get lazy. I'm glad you have that link, Androids.

Pluto (bruton) is a.........(can't use bad language here). And no amount of boulder throwing, volcano/earthquake-stopping shenanigans to the opening sequence music changes that. I only wish bora took a bit more time in sending him to that big robot factory in the sky. (shouldve made him beg for his miserable life and THEN ripped his arms off ever so slowly). Then abra should have resurrected photar to get back to his job of daddy day-care..........nah.
